The first SUITE Series was introduced back in 1998 and was a huge success, with a firm eye on a design that would fit into a contemporary interior. The development of methods that allow affordable mass production of curved sides and a totally new driver and tweeter design made the SUITE Series possible.

The present SUITE Series incorporates the vibration and resonance damping curved cabinet. The curve of the cabinet itself and the grooves made in the MDF dramatically reduce the coloration of the reproduced sound. Which is one of the DALI Sound Design Principles - Low Resonance Cabinets.

The SUITE 2.8 is the largest of the SUITE models. This time the curved and vibration damping cabinet gives a warm embrace to two 6.5” woofer/midranges and a 1” soft dome tweeter in a 2.5 way set-up.

The lower 6.5" driver handles all frequencies up to 700 Hz, while the upper one is in charge of bass and midrange information all the way to where it crosses over to the 1” soft dome tweeter. This co-operation between the twin woofer/midranges results in extremely articulate and tuneful bass and well-balanced sound reproduction.

The SUITE Series is developed, designed, hand-built, assembled and individually tested at the DALI factory in Denmark.
