Thin-Ply Carbon Diaphragm

At the heart of the D1 lies a diaphragm made from Thin-Ply Carbon, an advanced composite used in extreme applications from Formula 1 cars to NASA’s Mars helicopter Ingenuity. In headphone design, it becomes something entirely new: TPCD eliminates the need for traditional damping at the diaphragm level, enabling faster, cleaner and more accurate performance.

Dynamic headphones have long balanced compromises such as speed versus stability or weight versus comfort.
