Various Artists – Guardians of the Galaxy Deluxe brings together the hugely popular soundtrack from Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy alongside Tyler Bates' original score. Released in 2014, the collection became an integral part of the film's identity, using classic songs from the 1960s and 1970s to provide humour, emotion and a distinctive retro character to its intergalactic adventure.
The Awesome Mix Vol. 1 portion features memorable tracks including "Hooked on a Feeling" by Blue Swede, "Come and Get Your Love" by Redbone, "Spirit in the Sky" by Norman Greenbaum, "Cherry Bomb" by The Runaways, "I'm Not in Love" by 10cc and "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" by Marvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell.
