Compact yet robust, the KC92 subwoofer features 2 x 9-inch force-cancelling drivers propelled by a formidable 1000W (RMS) of amplification. Evolved from the KF92, the KC92 features the same elegant, compact and robust design, but optimised performance.
KEF‘s proprietary DSP (Digital Signal Processing) algorithms ensure that every component of the subwoofer works in perfect harmony. Features such as iBX Intelligent Bass Extension provides even deeper and precise bass at any listening level.
The two drivers are positioned in a force-cancelling configuration, neutralising reactive forces and facilitating sound pressure levels of 110dB from a compact, sealed cabinet.
Engineered to better resist the acoustic pressure in the cabinet to allow the driver to move more precisely compared to traditional surround designs.
The drivers feature a hybrid aluminium/paper cone, an oversized motor system with a vented design for the voice coil, ensuring vanishingly low distortion and exceptional precision.
The KC92’s twin drivers are powered by 1,000W RMS (2 x 500W), providing exceptional levels of control and the ability to deliver sudden bursts of power precisely when needed.
